Do you want to be the rain? Then you become the rain.  Is your lover the wind? Than you can become her too, and sing with along her. Want the biggest geological force on Earth? You already are!                                                                                                                                                           In the time of the Anthropocene humanity became the biggest geological force on earth, and  it seems as if we have manipulated nature to our will. But is that really the case?                                                                                                                                                                                        Mirte van den Bos (1997) is a mixed media artist who investigates and examines the vulnerability of desires, of always wanting to become something else and the modern capitalistic dream that states that everything is possible. But is it really? Can we really become the wind, the rain or the ocean?
She plays with the hybrid between man, nature and technology. Her work can be described as eco-queer with a wink to the fairytale
of capitalism.
