Mirte van den Bos (Dieren, 1997) is currently investigating the relationship between human, object and environment and how these relationships are established and influenced. In the age of the antropocene, humanity has become a geological force on earth. These relationships between humanity and the planet play themselves out on a smaller and more personal scale. Mirte searches for an intimacy with objects, non-human species, technology, the environment and other human beings. She investigates how our surroundings influence our behaviour and how we can have a dialogue with the world around us. Throughout language, installations, video and photgraphy she tries to capture these dialogues.

Our relationship with objects has become so intimate, that we don’t even notice them anymore.
